A new iPhone application called uGive is helping nonprofits get the word out and solicit support. Launched by MobileCause (www.mobilecause.com), a leading web services company for mobile fundraising, the application allows participating charitites to instantly add themselves to the database of organizations offered on the freely downloaded application.
When iPhone users launch the application, the software updates itelf in real time to include each organizations latest information.
