United Way of Texas Enlists MobileCause to Raise Funds for Fire Victims

Donors can text the keyword "WILDFIRE" to 85944 to contribute $10 to the United Way of Texas Wildfire Relief fund.

 

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 14, 2011 -- MobileCause (www.mobilecause.com), the leading U.S. web service for mobile communication, CRM and fundraising to non-profit sector, has partnered with United Way of Texas to raise funds for the victims of the wildfires in Central Texas.

 

MobileCause has enabled donors to support the relief fund through their mobile device. Donors can text the keyword "WILDFIRE" to 85944 to contribute $10 to the United Way of Texas Wildfire Relief fund. A one-time $10 donation will be added to donator's mobile bill. Messaging and data rates may apply. Contributions will aid victims of the fire that has burned more than 34,000 acres.
