CEO & Board Member
Sean MacNeill joined MobileCause as CEO and member of the board of directors in June 2013. With nearly 20 years of industry experience in the areas of general management, strategic planning, product management, engineering, sales and operations. He is a multidimensional CEO with solid technology experience delivering rapid growth for companies from start-up, private and public companies. He has demonstrated an ability to formulate and execute strategies to enter new markets, develop new products, drive sales, and lead successful mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to his role as CEO at MobileCause, Sean served as the CEO of Openwave Messaging, a next generation $55M messaging software company (acquired by Marlin Equity). Previously Sean served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Global Services (COO role) at Openwave Systems, a $200M global software innovator delivering context-aware mobile and messaging solutions. Prior to joining Openwave Systems, Sean served as President and COO at Dynavar Corporation (acquired by Sun Capital), a $50M integrated communication solutions developer to service providers and large enterprises. Before Dynavar, Sean held management positions in sales, marketing, and operations for such companies as VocalScape Communications, a startup VoIP software developer, and Intrinsyc Software, Inc., a mobility software and services company.
Sean holds a BA in Anthropology with distinction and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. Sean and his wife Tatiana have one son Graycen.
Dale Bartos has served as CFO of MobileCause since 2013 and has a deep knowledge of SaaS and related operating metrics. He has broad financial and operational experience serving as CFO and COO of public and private companies. Dale has extensive experience in senior financial and operational positions with tech related companies where he has raised capital via bank debt and numerous equity offerings. Dale is experienced in taking high-profile companies from early stages to public acquisition.
Prior to joining MobileCause, Dale served as CFO and Vice President of Fulcrum Microsystems, which sold to Intel for $170M. He previously was the CFO and Vice President of Finance, Administration, and Operations at Mirapoint Inc. Dale was the CFO and Vice President, Finance of Xylan Corporation where he played a key role in the company’s $1.8B sale to Alcatel in a public transaction. As COO and CFO of privately-held E2O Communications they sold to JDS Uniphase for $60M. Dale has also served in senior finance positions at Nexsan Technologies, Micropolis Corporation and Harris Corporation.

Chief Marketing Officer
Kristal’s driving force comes from building strong brands and fostering high-performing corporate cultures. For nearly 20 years, she has developed integrated marketing strategies that have helped small, mid-sized and global companies grow exponentially. At MobileCause, Kristal leads branding, inbound marketing, communications and public relations to position the company as the leading force that is revolutionizing fundraising through the power of technology for non-profit organizations.
Prior to MobileCause, she was the Executive Vice President of Marketing at Computershare, a global financial services company. Within four years, she elevated the company’s brand, aligned the marketing and sales organizations and introduced inbound strategies to more effectively go to market.
She has held marketing management positions at professional services and technology companies where she was a trusted advisor to the Office of the CEO and developed high-performance, lead-generation programs for large sales organizations. In addition, she was a marketing and brand consultant for a branding and interactive media consultancy, Siegel & Gale, LLC, a member of Omnicom Group’s Diversified Agency Services. While at Deloitte & Touche, she was part of the pilot, West Region Business Development Center (BDC), program that developed account strategy practices as a key growth engine for the firm. With the success of the pilot program, BDCs were developed across the country as the standard in effective business development growth strategies.
Kristal graduated from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and emphasis in Marketing.
CTO & CSO
Ged has served as CTO and CSO of MobileCause since 2014. Ged is responsible for all engineering, product development and security at MobileCause. He has over 20 years of experience in leading software teams and bringing products from inception to market. His expertise spans a wide range of technologies and domains, from enterprise applications to highly complex middleware/security products. Over his career Ged has also gained extensive experience in all deployment models from license/on-premise, hosted, to full cloud.
Ged has worked for many years in software development, international consulting positions, and management of global teams for small & large enterprises, including 6 years at IBM. Prior to MobileCause Ged held a variety of senior technical roles including VP of Technology at JibJab Media, VP of Engineering at SOA Software, SVP of Engineering at 5square.com, Development Manager for ITIM at IBM, VP of Engineering at Access 360 (acquired by IBM), VP of Engineering at Opus 360, VP of Engineering at Peoplemover (acquired by Opus 360), and VP of Engineering at Glovia International.
Ged received his BSC in Computer Science at Warwick University, England. He is married with 4 children.
Founder and SVP of Enterprise Sales
Daniel Scalisi is a seasoned internet and mobile software entrepreneur with over 15 years of venture backed, public company, start-up and emerging technology experience in building, developing and monetizing emerging technology businesses, social services and media. Daniel is the Founder and SVP of Enterprise Sales at MobileCause and is responsible for securing, developing and expanding enterprise relationships with Forbes 400 top nonprofits in the US.
Prior to his role Daniel spent time as executive-in- residence with a $300M venture firm Sid R Bass & Associates where he was instrumental in evaluating new investment opportunities as well as vetting and reengineering the market and business development strategies of several of their existing portfolio companies. Prior to that as founder of EVP of MyLifeOnline he built a social media platform business that targeted offering social media tools to organizations spanning from Non-Profit to Enterprise. Prior to MyLifeOnline, Daniel led an aggressive multi-million dollar revenue turn around for the U.S. division of a public Japanese Media company WNI. Under Scalisi’s leadership, WNI built and deployed the US’s first local mobile video TV on demand network comprised of content from 90 local broadcast affiliates in 90 top US markets. Prior to joining WNI, Scalisi served as Vice President of Business and Product Development at Telecast Mobile, the US division of a European 100+ million-dollar mobile content company. Before Telecast Mobile, Scalisi was Senior Director of Business Development at iWorld Group, a European digital media incubator.
Some of his additional accomplishments include founding and selling an interactive market company as well as youth apparel Fashion Company which he built from 0 to $20 M in annual revenues and from 2 to 140 employees. Scalisi is a published author of a special interest book. Scalisi is also the recipient of the “40 under 40” award from the San Fernando Business Journal. Daniel was a frequent speaker at conferences such as CTIA and iHollywood Forum and is a founding member of MoMeMo, a mobile media networking and discussion group.

SVP of SMB Sales
Tim is the SVP of SMB Sales at MobileCause and leads the go-to- market strategy and teams for all small to medium nonprofit organizations. He has over 20 years as a seasoned and successful sales executive and entrepreneur. Tim was a key contributor for over 10 years at Coupons.com leading to a successful IPO which is now Quotient Technology ($1B company). He has had 4 exits and worked with more than 15 VC-backed startups including A16z, CrossCut Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Thrive Capital, Formation, and Subtraction Capital. Companies include OpenGov, an A16z Andreessen Horwitz backed startup ($40mm in funding), Emotient (sold to Apple in 2016), Local ID, Bloodhound, InternMatch, RevTrax, Coupon Factory and more. He is passionate about managing, mentoring, and motivating salespeople and applying his expertise in setting sales strategy, creating a scalable sales process, and rolling up his sleeves to lead the team in driving record breaking sales numbers.
Tim is a graduate of The Master’s University with a degree in Business Administration. Tim and his wife Wendy have five children and 3 grandchildren.
SVP of Customer Success
Phil is the SVP of Customer Success at MobileCause and drives strategy, training, and support services that help our customers achieve their fundraising goals through smart donor engagement. He is a versatile executive with 15 years of operational experience at high growth, venture backed, B2B SaaS startups. With a successful track record of driving results from seed to series-c stages of growth Phil is adept at managing all phases of the customer lifecycle including sales, strategy, product, implementation, support, and account management.
Prior to MobileCause Phil was the Managing Director of Customer Success at ClearCare that was acquired for $60M. Before ClearCare he was the VP of Customer Success at Moovweb. Phil has held a variety of roles at previous tech companies in services and support including Responsys where he was the Director of Services Engineering prior to being acquired by Oracle for $1.5B.
Phil and his wife have two young boys and love spending time with family and friends. When not changing diapers or chasing toddlers his hobbies include surfing, biking, and travel. He has a passion for music, books, EPL soccer, and MotoGP racing.

Christy is the Vice President of Digital Marketing Services at MobileCause where she is responsible for creating, driving, and delivering value-added services and programs to help MobileCause customers and partners advance their marketing and fundraising objectives. Christy is a versatile executive with over 20 years of global branding, operations, communications, sales, and marketing experience. Prior to MobileCause, Christy held executive marketing positions at SaverNation, Delphi Display Systems, QR Mobile Pay, and DMX where she helped grow the startup to a $200 million global leader. Christy also developed and managed several key revenue-producing programs as a consultant for Goldline, MyPoints.com, United Online and several B2B SaaS startups. Christy is currently the Board Chair of Girls on the Run of Los Angeles County and Marketing Director and a foster for Noah’s Bark Dog Rescue. She is a graduate of UCLA and has completed seven Ironman triathlons, over 50 marathons, 1 ultramarathon, and multiple triathlons and century rides.
VP of Enterprise Sales
Scott Tretsky is the Vice President of Enterprise Sales at MobileCause and leads a focused team pursuing large enterprise clients. He has over a decade of sales and management experience in the software and services fields, and has a relentless plan-and- execute mentality. Scott has a proven track record of starting up and building successful sales teams. In his previous role at Central Desktop (now iMeetCentral acquired by PGi), he built the sales team from scratch by teaching everything from the fundamentals of cold calling all the way to closing deals with large enterprise accounts. He believes that the key for any successful sales organization to achieve its goals is to plan and execute on a focused strategy. He honed his skills in sales and management roles at DeVry University and 3D Cadware Software Solutions.
Additionally, he is President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Association of the Inside Sales Professionals. Scott is a thought leader in the B2B technology start-up world where he often asked to speak on topics ranging from sales development to creating and managing a sales process from start to close.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in political science and public policy from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Ken Denman is an entrepreneur, board member and investor. Mr. Denman, an experienced technology CEO with executive, strategic and operational experience across software, artifical intelligence, wireless, and enterprise applications, is a venture partner with Sway Ventures. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Emotient, Inc., an innovative venture-backed software start-up that built an artificial intellingence (deep learning) based platform for measuring facial expressions, leveraging computer vision and behavioral & cognitive science to predict emotions. Emotient was acquired by Apple in January of 2016. Ken has also been CEO of two silicon valley public software companies, including Openwave (since re-named Unwired Planet) where he directed this Nasdaq listed mobile middleware technology company through a major strategy transition. While at iPass, Mr. Denman was Chairman and CEO and led a successful IPO in 2003. He has also served as Senior Vice President for MediaOne, leading a signicant portion of this top 4 cable operator’s US operations. In an expat role, he served as Chief Operating Officer –Wireless, for MediaOne in London. Ken holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Washington and a B.S. in accouting from Central Washington University.
Mr. Denman is a member of the board of directors of Costco Wholesale (COST). Ken is a member of the Shoretel board of directors (SHOR) and is also a board member of Mitek (MITK). Additionally, Ken is a member of the board of directors of Motorola Solutions (MSI).
In September 2012, Mr. Denman was appointed to the Edward V. Fritzky Endowed Chair in Leadership at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, as a Visiting Professor. Ken is also an advisory board member of the UW Foster School of Business and is also a member of the board of directors of the UW Foundation.
