Important MobileCause System Update

9:00pm (PST) Update: All functionality is running properly. Email confirmations, receipts and broadcast text messages have been sent. We are continuing our investigation and will provide an update as we learn more.

5:30pm (PST) Update: All functionality — with the exception of outbound (broadcast) text messages — is running properly. Email confirmations and receipts are in a queue and will be sent this evening. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

3:40pm (PST) Update: Email confirmations and receipts are being held in a queue and will be sent later. They are not lost and will all be sent. All other functionality is running properly, with the exception that outbound (broadcast) text messages may experience some delays. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

1:15pm (PST) Update: the MobileCause app is up and running. Forms and donations are processing. Event pages are loading normally. Inbound text messaging (e.g., text-to-donate) is online. The app is now able to send outbound (broadcast) text messages — a few hundred thousand have gone out — but we are still working to get that back to full functionality. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

12:15pm (PST) Update: the MobileCause app is up and running. Forms and donations are processing. Event pages are loading normally. Inbound text messaging (e.g., text-to-donate) is back online. There is still an issue with outbound (broadcast) text messaging and our team is working diligently to get that back to full functionality as quickly as possible. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

11:35am (PST) Update: the MobileCause app is up and running. Forms and donations are once again processing. Event pages are loading normally. There is still an issue with text messaging (outbound and inbound), and our team is working diligently to get that back to full functionality as quickly as possible. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

11:20am (PST) Update: unfortunately, the MobileCause app ran into issues again about 30 minutes ago. Our team is working diligently to bring it back to full functionality as quickly as possible. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

There is still an issue with outbound (broadcast) text messaging, and our team is working diligently to get that back to full functionality as quickly as possible. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

8:15am (PST) This morning an issue with one of our systems has caused issues with the MobileCause software. We know that the timing of this incident comes at a particularly challenging time, and we sincerely apologize for the impact this is having. The team is working diligently to get things back to full functionality.  We will continue to provide updates as they become available. We will be investigating the cause of this outage and introducing any necessary changes as part of our normal retrospective processes.
