13 buff emergency responders cheerfully posed with fans and signed calendars as part of the FDNY Foundation’s goal to raise more than $150,000 to help spread awareness for fire safety, according to the organization’s executive director Jean O’Shea.

The firefighters turned calendar models told amNewYork they are glad that being featured helps to spark interest in the foundation’s cause. “Being in the calendar is just putting a face to the job that we do,” Kismartovi Mejia of Engine 314 said.

All of the calendar proceeds, and a portion of merchandise proceeds, will benefit the FDNY Foundation.
