Challenge

The Houston Symphony was growing and needed to increase donations to support the symphony’s programs and key initiatives. They were in the market for an online fundraising platform that allowed for both online donations and sign ups. The Houston Symphony wanted to make donating as easy as they could and hoped that a one-click donation form was an option. With the need for a fast, easy and secure service, the Houston Symphony turned to MobileCause as their solution of choice.

Solution

Through the MobileCause platform, Houston Symphony embedded the “Donate Now” button in the header of their website to a customizable, secure and mobile-friendly online giving form, providing site visitors and supporters a one-click donation experience from any page of their website, on any device (PC, tablet, or smartphone). In addition, a prominent “Donate Now” button was placed within their application, which made up 65% of total donations.

Impact

Over 1,350 donors contributed $430,000 through online giving, both within the Houston Symphony’s application and through the online forms embedded across their website. Houston Symphony one-click donation was a huge success as supporters raved about how easy it was to donate. The average gift size increased to $225, which resulted in an improved revenue stream for their organization.
